There are a lot more in this area under checkout and in the settings section as well. Your manuals only cover what is on the site once you take over. If you want to learn more about Wix, I first advise getting a good handle on the basics first, then give it a whirl. There is a lot of information/help files found on YouTube as well as on Google. If you require some training in newAnd other LOCAL website created using Wix. I worked with a blank template and built it using the clients Branding. There's no store, but you can learn about the packages available and contact them directly to make your order.

Another client site completed - this one is a large one with a store and it's all local! It's created using Wix.
Wix was originally created for those who don't code to be able to create their own sites. However, it's extremely overwhelming for those that aren't computer friendly. It's ok for a basic simple sites only. You need to know how to work accessibility, SEO and other factors behind the scenes, and at times, some coding in the backend is required for the results you want. Plus you need a good eye for design.
I have created several Wix sites for clients and create them a manual related to their site on how to do their updates. This gives them 100% control of their site. I tend to work from a blank template and build the site up to work with their Branding needs as well.
The only downfall is Wix sites can't be moved to different platforms - which in all my years, has never been required anyways 🙂
I still create Wordpress or Basic HTML sites depending on your needs, but with Wix, it's just a bit more friendly and gives you more updating options - so clients tend to lean in this direction.
Creating a store in Wix is definitely not for those who aren't computer friendly - there is lots involved.

To all Internet WebDeZines clients: The server we have rented for the past 20 years or so, has been sold to a new company. They are migrating everything to their server. From my understanding, there wasn't suppose to be any down time and worse, a page that loads saying your site is suspended, it is not!
