Who has been busy updating/creating story highlight covers during the holiday break? 🙋🏼‍♀️ This is a great way after updating your bio to change and refresh the look of your account. Something I recently learned was to ensure your background is always consistent ~ copy and store the background number so when you create more covers as your business changes, you’ll always have consistently matching albums! My recent favorite is . A beautiful rich, earthy green. 😍

What is an Instagram highlight cover? Instagram highlights are the stories that you want to showcase on your profile permanently. And, Instagram highlights cover images are the pictures that you see as circles at the top of your Instagram profile.

This one is so quick and easy but SO important for your business page. ▪️ Make sure you have a second Facebook account with Admin access to your page. ▪️ It can be your sister, uncle, business partner - it doesn’t matter. Just make sure there is a second person that could have admin rights to your page in case something happens to your personal Facebook account that is connected to your Page. Facebook is AWESOME - I still love it even with its limited organic reach, but she can be fickle so keep your Business Page protected.
▪️ Add another Admin by going into your page settings, Page Roles, add the person’s personal Facebook account name and make their access ‘Admin’. ▪️

Welcome 2021! We are so excited you have arrived! ✨ New year = new day to increase your business presence using social media. Here are three things to check with posting in 2021:

1. Do you have your page synced to your Instagram account? While I don’t recommend syncing main posts, I 💯 recommend syncing your stories. What a time saver! If you have a new Instagram account and it’s not letting you sync your page, it might be because your Instagram account is setup as a Professional account.

2. How are you posting content? Are you utilizing your stories? Once you harness using IG stories, it is a business game changer!

3. How excited are you to make a post? If it is a chore or something you dread, you might not be surrounded by your “tribe” or community yet. You should always be level 10 on the excitement meter to make a post. It’s why I never schedule my content. I want to post in the midst of exciting things happening with my small business. The excitement does translate through social media. Harness yours before posting. 🤎 Flat content will = flat engagement.

Have you done your top nine for 2020? This super fun concept started a few years ago. You enter your Instagram handle into one of the popular ‘Top nine’ sites and it generates your top nine photos generated from number of IG account likes. Here is a link to one generator:
