Not that we didn't know this already but it's spooky to be reminded.

I had a CONVERSATION about using "thread locker" on bolts with someone, while I was sitting in front of my computer. I inputted ZERO things into my computer about this. It was a conversation I had with my human voice in real life.

Not five minutes later this shows up on my Facebook Feed.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Your business may be getting calls from "Voice Search" saying that your business is not registered with voice search for Google, Siri, Apple Maps, Bing Etc. and offering to get you registered.

This is a SCAM. There is NO SUCH THING as "registering with voice search" since all voice search is, is a method of inputting questions into the search engine. The search engine still operates the same way, you still show up exactly the same way.

I have been getting literally 10 calls a day from this outfit calling my business, despite blocking their number. I have taken to actually speaking with their sales people and engaging with them on the fact that it is a scam. They are incredibly tenacious but hopefully I get through to a few of them and they start to question what they are doing.

Hey, I'm surveying something for a client of mine:

If you were going to a tasting of rare, fancy coffee, what would you expect the costs to look like?

a) I would expect to pay for a ticket and then the samples are free

b) I would expect to enter for free and then pay for what I wanted to sample

c) I would expect the whole thing to be free, including ticket and samples

Or

d) Something else I haven't even thought of yet.
