Was it all thanks to an ice cream wrapper?
Our 25-year history may be thanks to a sign from Ben & Jerry, themselves.
25 years ago, Tammy (my original business partner) and I were deciding if we should open a business together. While on vacation, she purchased an ice cream, and the wrapper said “If it’s not fun, why do it?”
That was the sign Tammy needed; she called me and said, “I’m in.”
When we finally found office space in Mississauga, serendipitously, our neighbours were… Ben & Jerry’s.
Our clients always got to try the newest flavours, and still today, Ben & Jerry’s is a brand that conjures nostalgia and good vibes. So much so, that we created our own reminder of the iconic ice cream message, which hangs in our office as a tribute to our start, but also our philosophy in business.
So, in honour of National Ice Cream Day on July 19, enjoy your favourite cone or pint, and remember to have fun.
