A special thank you to our outstanding Young Entrepreneur Panelists:
⭐ Dr. Lyndon Jellison – Co-owner of Longevity Chiropractic & Wellness in Unity and a recipient of the inaugural 2025 Young Entrepreneur Bursary. Lyndon shared his journey of returning home to build a business that serves his community while continuing a long-standing local practice.
⭐ Clarissa Scheidl – Co-owner of Birdie's Golf Lounge in North Battleford. Clarissa spoke about taking a leap of faith to bring a new entertainment experience to the Battlefords and growing an award-winning business recognized with both the Young Entrepreneur Award and Business of the Year at the 2025 BBEX Awards.
⭐ Makenna & Teigan Furber – Founders of Swimming Lessons @ YourTownHere. These entrepreneurial sisters shared how they have expanded water safety education across Saskatchewan, using innovation and determination to bring accessible swimming lessons to communities throughout the province.
We also extend our gratitude to Ashlee Babiy, Chair of the Board, for serving as our MC and guiding the evening's discussion.
The panel provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship, business growth, overcoming challenges, and the impact of the Young Entrepreneur Bursary Program. Their stories are a testament to the talent, determination, and innovation that continue to strengthen our communities.
