Good! That means this reel did its job.

The purpose of this video is not to show the property. It’s to point out the highlights in a quick, thrilling way.

Social media, primarily Instagram and TikTok, is by far best way to bring eyes to your listings.

Let’s be honest, we’re all on here, scrolling away for hours at times, continuously letting content ‘reel’ us in.

In line with my previous post, utilizing two forms of media over two different types of channels solves two problems:

1) you bring more attention to your listings through social media
2) you have high quality, easy to look at media on REALTOR.ca

Which do you prefer?

Music changes everything - and definitely modified the vibe of this beautifully renovated condo on Lindsay in North Bay.

Understanding a buyer’s media preference is massive for real estate in 2026. Yes, energetic videos are awesome and draw the viewer in, but, sometimes that’s not the preference of who’s going to purchase the property.

This condo is a prime example. Perfect for empty nesters looking for a smaller space to enjoy. But energy might not be their preference when viewing the space.

It is sequentially as important to understand what channels make the most sense for the market you’re trying to attract, and what media fits those channels best.

In 2026 we’re focused on delivering two forms of media; ENERGY for channels like Instagram and TikTok to target buyers that A) shop there and B) resonate with it, and REFINED for traditional platforms like MLS to target buyers that may not use social media, or simply may not vibe with an upbeat video.

2026 is your year! We cannot wait to continue to support and serve the real estate community in the ways that make sense.
