Summer went by way too fast! Suddenly it's back to school time again. As usual, we are offering an amazing BackTo School Portrait Package: 10 minute sessions, all the portraits included, $50! (For one school child, but extra children are only $10 each) This year we have a selection of traditional headshot backdrops in studio, and we also have a really cool collection of digital backdrops too. Every session will have an assortment of both! You can choose your favourites during the session, or leave it up to me to surprise you.

You may wonder what the advantages are to going to a studio for school pictures:
~ First of all, it's a fun experience to share with your child! We laugh, we get silly.
~You are also on hand to fix stray hair or straighten clothes up, we have ample time to make sure each portrait is perfect.
~You are welcome to hop in a portrait too if you like!
~You can get group portraits of all your children.
~You can include props from your home if you like, a favourite stuffed animal, a pet, etc.
~You can do a wardrobe change, if you'd like to get their sport or dance uniform.
~ You don't have to choose a package from a couple of portraits that look almost the same.
~ Best of all, you get them back within a day or two!

Mom & Me and Dad & Me sessions are underway and going great! I'm loving how the simple sets showcase the people, all the hugs and cuddles and tickles! My new backdorp for preschool graduation sessions has arrived, and it's super cute. Those will start in June and run for the whole month for $45. Another new addition to our packages is mini sessions for newborns! I had a lot of requests for something simple and more affordable, so these sessions are only a few minutes long. You choose a single color and i will have three sets ready to go when you arrive. We will swaddle baby in your chosen color and shoot the three sets in rapid succession, and a free family pose is included, $200! I've already run a few trials and it works great. Designed for newborn babies under 2 weeks old (or adjusted age of 2 weeks for premies)

My inbox is full of people asking about Mommy and Me sessions for Mother's Day, so it is time to make a post! Sticking with the package I offered last year, as it was popular, I will be doing an "All-in-One" style again. This means I will have a set for Mother's day, and a set for Father's day both set up at the same time! That means you get two sessions for the price of one, and you only have to wrangle the family in once! I don't have pics yet as Im just placing my orders, but I have decided to go minimalist this year. For one set it will be a rich cocoa colored paper backdrop and the other will be "Blue jean" colored paper, both with cream colored seating. I will leave it up to you which portraits you want on which set. With a minimalist design, the focus will be on tickles, cuddles, hugs, and snuggles. Running from May 4th until Father's Day, only $75!
