Aha! ~ Get grounded in gratitude
Writing Aha!s for almost five years I’ve come to realize that shifting perspective and looking for “what’s good about it” is now a habit. It’s not that I don’t see a potential downside it’s more the understanding that everything has an opposite. So if a situation appears “bad” there must be a “good” about it. Essentially how you perceive something is what creates your reality.
When you’re blinded by negativity, ground yourself in gratitude. When the sands are shifting and no two days appear the same, finding something to hold onto can be a challenge. My go-tos that I never take for granted are that I am so happy and grateful for clean running water to the exact temperature I desire at the turn of a tap (I marvel in that daily), my comfy bed, having perfect health (reminding myself of that daily seems to bring on the best) and to be surrounded by love.

There is a heightened level collaboration going on around the planet, everyone from world leaders to parents are talking about new routines, coping mechanisms, finances, leadership, morale and everything in between.
Collaboration couldn’t be more important but let’s also look at actually sharing resources.
One business is laying people off when another is desperate for workers. One person needs help preparing nutritious meals for the family and another needs legal advice. One person needs some support filing for government aid and another needs help deciphering a new piece of equipment for their home office.
Your sharing might be a trade of services, “Hey, I can give you a break from your kids in the evening by reading them stories online to help you free up some time for you to update my social media stuff?”
Your sharing might be simply of being of service, volunteering to deliver groceries to Food Bank clients or people in isolation.
Your sharing might be a new commerce model, a fitness membership that includes online yoga classes.
Pour what you know into the pool to help people feel connected, empowered and in control.
