Today we celebrate one of the most impactful mediums of communication, the humble yet mighty Radio.

Radio has not only given access to millions of people to content in multiple languages but also made it extremely practical for people to stay connected to world & local affairs by active listening, even when they’re in motion or performing an alternate task in parallel.

And since the platform isn’t visual, it requires another set of skills to keep your listeners glued. From basic skill sets of Voice modulation, great content, cultural & local nuances, audience engagement, music to advanced tools such as NLP, tech integrations etc; Radio fuels great innovation.

What’s your take on Radio as a platform? Is it a passive engagement medium or active?

Tonight the and the partnered to celebrate the ; and what’s better than art, culture & food to bring people together? You’re right! We had a huge spread of delicious food, impeccable work of art put together by two genius Caribbean artists and live music performance by the CCAH Steelpan Band.

And to top it all, we had overwhelming participation from business & community leaders from all over Oakville.

Once again incredible work done by the chamber to celebrate our multicultural existence and bringing people together.

Great to see & meet .1984 and several other fellow members.

It’s Friday and here’s some PSA for you to noodle around over the weekend.

🛑 STOP commoditizing your web presence: Your website is just like a store front for your business. Never initiate your website design discussions with number of pages, cost or the platform on which it can be built such as Wordpress, drupal or shopify etc.

✅ Instead look for an agency that talks to you about your brand proposition, brand strategy, content flow, target groups, user journey and once all the pointers are clear, only then proceed to the discussions around what the end result will be built on/like.

✋ If an agency’s opening pitch is to build a 3 page website for X amount of dollars, cease the discussion right then & there. You ain’t buying stationary but possibly the biggest brand asset for your business. Give it some deeper thought, give it the right approach.

Client: Clear Protect Group, New Zealand.

Brief: Keep the brand colours intact but give a more modern B2C design feel to our wipes.

Backstage: Say no more. Let us do our magic. We turned the old wipes industrial design into a modern sophisticated retail design that talks about reusability and environmental friendliness of the product.

Result: Sales quadrupled and we got mandated for another product packaging redesign.

When ThinkIT Technologies (Michigan, US) approached us to redesign & modernize their website, we asked them to take a pause and refocus on their brand’s proposition & identity first.

It wasn’t their ask but it is what they truly needed. And before even we could draft their new site map, we developed their brand proposition that led to their new brand identity.

There’s a lot of logic & brand essence to the new identity. Basically a beautiful story to be told.

Last night was a blast at the at Flamboro Downs! The teamed up with the Stony Creek and to bring the business communities together for an evening of networking and fun.

We played friendly casino games, laughed, and even won a few bucks (which were used to participate in the raffle and I won a prize too! Lol)

But the real highlight of the night was getting to meet some of the incredible business leaders in our communities who are making a real impact. Thank you to the Chambers for organizing such a fantastic event!
