I'm so happy to donate my time to the Okotoks BMX Club for another year!
Our next board introduction is a real family affair. This family goes to show just how BMXing really is a family sport! Meet the Ray-Kowalchuk’s!
Darryl:
Our family first became involved with the Okotoks BMX club three years ago when we enrolled our son Devin. It wasn’t long before Charlotte and Darryl were riding in the club as well! Darryl is now racing 20” and Cruiser and is hoping to get his coaching certificate this year. This will be his 2nd year on the board as a Director at Large and he is happy to help out with the club wherever he can!
Megan:
We were welcomed into the Club as new members in 2018 and for our first 2 years I was an unofficial member of the board as the second Volunteer Coordinator and became the Registration Coordinator last year. I work as a Graphic Designer and in 2018 I was privileged to donate my time to design the Grands logo, poster, swag, etc. and the new Okotoks BMX Club logo in 2019. Being a member of the Club has been such a wonderful experience. It truly feels like a family. We treasure the friendships we’ve made, the experiences we’ve had and look forward to whats’s yet to come!
We love our BMX family and can’t wait to get back down to the track to see some new and familiar faces!
