FYI!!!

The definition of photo editing quite simply put is "the act of altering an image"

There are several types of photo editing processes available, below are the 3 main choices.

1) Apps (application)- which do the editing for you with a simple photograph upload, example: Photolab

2) Filters- these are used to even out skin tone, brighten skin, whiten teeth, bronze skin, and take off weight or completely transform a photo into a cartoon. Example: AI filters, social media filters (effects)

Both 1 and 2 are called automatic photo editing techniques.

🪄Lastly there is #3 which is the way I photo edit my photos...

3) Manual editing- this way is the most complex, intricate, and sometimes tedious way to photo edit a photo/image/even video whereby every detail is done without the help of automation and rather with tools, much like an artist uses a paintbrush. Editing this way takes time, sometimes hours or days and an editor may use sometimes multiple programs to do this. Example: Photoshop, Adobe
