Today in “things you maybe didn’t know about me” (to will help humanize the fact that I am a girl who runs a boutique web design agency and there’s so much more to each of our lives than just our careers)…

👉 I grew up on a 4th generation FARM about an hour west of Ottawa (Douglas, ON: look it up, we are technically a ‘hamlet’ with less than 100ppl)

👉 I quit smoking in 2017, and replaced it with RUNNING. It was actually a really easy transition when I realized I just needed *something* to help get rid of all the stress and tension over things I couldn’t control (what’s *your* thing?)

👉 Barefoot running through the FIELDS at sunrise with my pup Titan, still stands out as some of the ‘freest, calmest’ moments I have ever had…

—And while I love the people and opportunities that come with living in the city now…

✨🌙 Stargazing under a blanket of stars, far from the light pollution and frenzy, will always be where my soul calls ‘HOME’…
[!] Disclaimer: I absolutely hated running in highschool and elementary school. I was completely disconnected from my body, and only saw it as a form of social torture. Years later, I’m muuuuch more in tune with my body, and have a different way of appreciating the sensory experiences that come with listening to what it needs (like time away from screens and people sometimes!) 💕✨

—Are you tired of starting at your feed yet? I made something “fresh” for you (like, 3yrs ago when I first sketched this lol)

This, my loves, is me doing everything within my power to quiet the voices of perfectionism, control and the desire to feel good all the time…

By bothering to show up and do ONE little thing in line with daily commitment towards my 3-7 year goals.
