Our Maker Spotlight for the week is the local Makers House in Ottawa! Since 2015, Gareth Davies and his community have been hosting local makers and showcasing fantastic handmade products from Ottawa artisans. They're also just a couple of blocks away from our primary workspace, so we pop in pretty often. Check this hub out next time you're downtown.

Kajabi... is kind of the worst when it comes to long-term functionality. But that shouldn't stop you from setting up your own courses to make big $$$ as a Maker! We strongly advise setting it up RIGHT from the start, with a more flexible CMS like Wordpress, to avoid an expensive migration to WP down the road when Kajabi no longer makes the cut. ⠀

Use the "image focus" feature on Squarespace to make sure your header images line up exactly the way you want them - client needed his header to be fully mobile responsive, zooming in to focus on his face in tablet or mobile mode.

Use an overlay to keep your header text crisp, clean, and readable!
