CONSISTENCY IS KEY TO VISIBILITY--BRANDING & SHOWING UP
I wish business were as easy as just having a big dream, choosing the perfect business name, and just drawing in your dream clients or customers. Create the business and they will come...if only!
In the online entrepreneurial space, space is crowded. Lots of people out there! Finding ways that set you apart from the crowd is a part of it. Being visible is another part. Visibility occurs in a couple of ways.
BRANDING
Your branding is a part of your visibility. What the audience visually sees in your logo, your brand colors, and even the fonts you use, help to create that image that you want your audience to see. Also the experience the customer feels around your brand. Does your brand reflect a corporate culture? Maybe your brand exudes a calm inner peace. However your brand comes across, it should be reflected all across the 'net! Your branding should be consistent across all of your channels and areas you are. Your website message should be the same as what is seen on Instagram. The logo, tagline colors and fonts should reflect that image of your business. This consistent image will stick with potential clients, the more they see it.
JUST SHOWING UP
When people are able to place a face to a business, that makes it personal. When the person who owns the business shows up to the table, they show that they care. That they can relate to what you are saying. That they understand your problems and also can help to solve them. Providing engaging content and posts that can help your clients out with obstacles they have can instill trust in you and your business. Showing up with different kinds of posts. Some text posts, some post graphics, some text, and graphics. Recorded video. Live video. Hosting a challenge. These are all ways in which you are building a trust factor with potential clients and building your visibility. Word of mouth from happy clients is just icing on the cake.
When you are just starting out it may seem like a daunting task to build visibility. It can be a very slow process. This is something that takes time. Perseverance goes a long way though and will be worth it to you in the end to developing a successful business.
