Excited to share this brand refresh for one of our clients!

Not every brand needs a complete overhaul. Sometimes, if the foundation is already strong and you already love your logo, it’s about refining what’s there, adding the right supporting elements, and creating more consistency so the brand works harder and more cohesively across every touchpoint.

Some rebrands are about reinvention. This one was about alignment.

When Brandon brought us in, his team had nearly two decades of strategic recruiting experience. What they didn’t have was a name and a brand that matched how they actually worked: embedded, deliberate, and accountable to outcomes instead of placements.

So we built it with him.

Naming came first. After exploring multiple options together, the team gravitated toward “In Tandem” because it was the most honest word for how they partner with founders. Funny side effect on our end: the word has quietly taken over our internal language. We use “in tandem” almost every day now to describe how we work with each other and clients. Turns out a name that good doesn’t stay inside the file it was made for!

From there the work expanded into a full system. A complete brand strategy and guidelines document anchored in the values that have always run the business: moving in sync, embedded, shared accountability, partnership, candor. A colour palette drawn from natural materials, built to feel calm and grounded rather than corporate or transactional.

The mark itself does two jobs at once. At first glance, the curves read as two shapes moving together, our literal take on “in tandem.” Look a little longer and the same shape forms a pair of ram horns, a quiet nod to Brandon’s last name and to the brand that came before. The past didn’t get erased, it got carried forward.

The system extended into a rollout package built for daily use: business cards, email signatures, social templates, presentation files, Canva assets the team can run with on their own, and a new Squarespace website that walks visitors through the strategy, offers, and a clear point of view on why the traditional recruiting model falls short.

The whole brand stands on a single line: “Recruiting for founders who can’t afford to get it wrong.”

Congratulations Brandon, Sarah, and the entire team. We’re so proud to have built this one with you and can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!

Let’s take a quick walk down memory lane, shall we?

2024: We had the privilege of leading the rebrand for This Mother Means Business (TMMB).

2025: TMMB launched its very first live event and we created the TMMB Live sub-brand along with the event collateral and attendee touchpoints to help bring it all to life. More than 60 women showed up for a day that felt really special from the start.

2026: The event grew in a big way this year (more than 160 women in attendance!) and we were so excited to grow alongside it through expanded signage, printed collateral, sponsor integrations, swag, and experiential branding throughout the space.

One of the coolest things about creative work is getting to see where it all leads.

A rebrand starts as strategy, visuals, ideas, mockups. Then suddenly a year or two later, you’re standing inside a room full of people experiencing that brand in real life. Watching it evolve from something on a screen into a growing community and event experience is pretty incredible.

And because so many members of our team are mothers in business too, projects like this hit a little differently for us. Supporting brands and communities that genuinely support mothers feels deeply aligned with who we are and what we care about.

Huge thank you to and the entire team for continuing to trust us as a creative partner along the way.

Also special shoutout to Britt of for her collaboration and event vision, especially the networking wall idea which became such a standout part of the experience.

We can’t wait to see what TMMB Live 2027 brings ✨

We’ve been having a lot of conversations recently with clients about email marketing, audience connection, and the importance of creating content people *actually* want to receive.

At the same time, we’ve also been feeling increasingly overwhelmed by the current state of email marketing (and our inboxes) ourselves 😅

The daily emails, giant walls of text, and constant pressure to always be sending MORE. The reality is, there’s a lot of different approaches to email marketing right now.

For some brands, frequent emails and text-heavy funnels work really well. But for us (and for many of the clients we work with) that approach doesn’t always feel aligned.

We wanted to create something a little more thoughtful, intentional, and genuinely useful instead.

So, we’re relaunching our newsletter a little differently this time.

Introducing: The Bowda Debrief.

A thoughtful monthly debrief from inside the work featuring:
• strategic insights
• creative inspiration
• practical planning notes
• our monthly social media holiday/calendar resource
• tools, references, and things catching our attention lately
• lessons learned from real client work

Basically, the kind of email we’d actually want to receive ourselves.

We went in thinking we’d deliver one strategy doc…and
came out of the process with an entire ecosystem 📑

When Lindsay came to us she had everything on paper- a podcast, content, offers, a VA, ideas.

What she didn’t have was a system that made all of it work together. Social lived in one place. Email in another. Offers somewhere else entirely. All good on their own, but none of it connected and THAT was key.

We could have handed her a strategy document and called it done.

Instead, we kept asking why.

Why is this offer positioned here? Why does this content exist? Why isn’t this leading anywhere? Because the way someone runs their business isn’t separate from their marketing, it IS their marketing.

If we didn’t understand how she operates at her core, anything we built would have just been surface level.

So we went deeper and then deeper again.

What came out the other side wasn’t just a strategy, it was a fully linked ecosystem where every piece has a purpose and everything points somewhere.

A digital marketing strategy.

A systems manual.

An operating rhythm.

A campaign blueprint.

A 90-day roadmap.

Branded templates across every platform.

All of it connected and intentional.

We asked how does all of this work together and we didn’t stop until we had the answer and delivered what she actually needed.

Let's talk moodboards (and no, they aren't just for Pinterest) 🎨

Your brand deserves a foundation that's intentional and that starts long before any design work happens. When it comes to branding, moodboards are one of the most important parts of our process - they're where we explore colour palettes, visual direction, and overall mood so that by the time we get to designing, we're completely aligned on where we're headed.

There's no room for guesswork or assumptions over here; just clear, intentional creative direction that your entire brand is built around.

Swipe through to see some of the moodboards we've created for clients. Some made the cut, some didn't, but every single one played a role in getting to the final result.

Meet Tanya, our Operations Coordinator and the woman that makes our world turn 'round 🌎

From managing backend systems and coordinating projects to keeping workflows, timelines, and teams aligned, she helps bring structure and clarity to the many moving parts that come with creative work.

Speaking of...she’s also incredibly creative in her own right. When she's not keeping us organized, Tanya is a fibre and textile artist, creating beautiful, one of a kind handcrafted pieces.

And of COURSE we have to mention Leela, her wonderfully chaotic Bernese Mountain Dog who regularly attends our team meetings and just might be edging our OG Frida out of her role of Chief Barking Officer.

Safe to say, things run a little smoother (and are a little more fun) with Tanya on the team 🤍

We’re so excited to share Curate My Chaos' new digital home 💻

Kate did the deep work of streamlining and refining her services. Once that clarity was there, our job was to translate it into a website that makes sense visually and strategically.

We moved her from Wix to Squarespace to simplify and consolidate everything into one cohesive platform. Her website, online course, email marketing, automations, and digital resource library/shop now all live together in one platform which means fewer tools and less friction. Not only is it easier for her to manage, it’s also clearer for her audience to navigate.

We also restructured her service pathways so visitors immediately understand what she offers and how to move forward because a website has to work for both the audience AND the business owner. That is always the goal.

And as a team that actively champions mother-owned businesses through our social impact initiative the Mother Founder Movement, getting to support a fellow mother founder in this season of growth made this one even more meaningful.

Go check out curatemychaos.com and give Kate some love 🤍

Sometimes a rebrand reveals more than you expect

What began as a visual refresh for Chiarella Journal quickly uncovered something deeper. The name itself no longer aligned with founder Fatima’s evolving vision. Through the rebranding process, that clarity sparked a meaningful shift and a new name: Kiara Journal, inspired by her mother, Chiara (pronounced Kiara), as an affectionate nod to family, the past, and Old World Europe.

We supported the transformation with a refined brand identity, website redesign, and cohesive social templates to bring her vision of poetic luxury to life.

A reminder that when a brand is aligned at its core, it has room to grow at its own pace 🤍
