Loving a good dog is the easiest. Saying goodbye is the hardest. 🌈 Bailey is loved and missed dearly by my Dad & Tammy. And her many friends, both humans and pets.

For nearly ten years this silly girl has been my dad’s hiking partner and loving companion. She’s the reason behind countless smiles and laughs. Her bouncy, goofy antics will be missed.

I wasn’t home to say a final goodbye, but I had the chance to tell her I love her and that she’s a good girl when my dad put the phone up to her ear.

These photos were taken on a walk we went on in September near the Thatch road in the surrounding wooded areas. I didn’t know that they’d be the last photos I took of her, which has made them extra special.

Love and miss you, Bailey — thank you for loving my dad and Tammy so much. ✨💕🌈

For years, I've taken photos of your pets. Sometimes those photos mean "Good Bye" will be soon.

Last year, I said my own "Good Bye" to Sampson. It's been a strange adjustment, to say the least.

"Good Bye" has reinforced my "Why". I do this because I love my pets, and you do, too.

This photo is a May memory from 2024 when the Lilacs were in bloom. I can remember the warm sun, the sweet smell of lilacs, but more importantly, enjoying that moment with Sampson.
