Introducing the new logo design for Bowl Of Notes Records!

I loved working with Rob Frayne on this second project for his music.

Bowl of Notes (BoN) Records is a jazz record label with music from local Ottawa bands and musicians including Rob Frayne, Rakestar, Drumswamp, Courage4 and others.

This funky retro colour palette is featured on a new project I've been working on for Rob Frayne , an incredible jazz musician based out of Ottawa, ON.

Here's a look into the refreshed brand identity I designed for the Ontario Professional Hairstylist Association — a collective of hairstylists and salon owners whose aim is to unite and support professional hairstylists.

This refresh maintained the likeness of the original brand, but with elevated, eye-catching typography paired with blushing pinks and cool neutrals.

I decided it’s time to wake up this sleepy account and introduce myself 👋

If we haven’t met yet, hi! My name’s Émilie Brunet, and I’m a graphic designer working out of Ottawa.The little fluff in my lap is my toy poodle, Lucie 🐶

I’m a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal where I studied design. I’ve been working as a graphic designer for a few years, full-time for others and part-time for myself as a freelancer. I love working on branding projects, websites and print design for small businesses, artists, musicians and NGOs.

Lately I’ve been investing more time into my freelance work because I absolutely love connecting with other people who are passionate about what they do. The most fulfilling thing in the world to me is helping make ideas come to life.
