Following our creator theme this week - This is Andrew Szeto. He takes old worn out skateboads, chops them up and makes new products out of them. In this film we featured his canoe paddles. We put a lot of trust in Andrew's canoe skills that day!

Just Create. It is within our powers to realize anything we can imagine. For some of us it’s the ability to turn water into delicious cocktails, or being able to create paddles out of broken skateboards. Better yet, it might be the ability to open portals to new worlds with a paint brush. Regardless of the special gift you possess, we’ll be here to help you share it.

You might have noticed this scene for our JustMOVE video. This project was part of a series for Ottawa Tourism and they wanted to feature Seth Ashworth - A kayaker in the Ottawa valley. We met Seth on a crisp fall morning near a wave call the “Garburator” on the Ottawa river. This waves hold a special place in the region and was the focal point of the ICF World Championships in freestyle kayaking back in 2015.

What turned out was one of the more visually exciting sequences of the Ottawa’s Own campaign. Everything flowed fluently and fortunately only Seth got wet!

What are some memorable documentaries that come to mind immediately? Maybe it’s Bowling for Columbine, Man on Wire, or Super Size Me. Why do titles like these stick in our minds more than others?
