What an exciting day in the studio!! I came home today to a beautiful package from Salt & Solar Ceramics & and I am in my glee! It is so exciting to find a glaze supplier that is not only Canadian, but even moreso they are LOCAL to Atlantic Canada! I cannot wait to put these beautiful glazes to use and create some fantastic coastal-inspired combos & recipes.

I mean LOOK AT THEM!

Time to get my hands muddy and prep some new pieces so I can play with these ASAP!

Whoa apparently I'm super behind on sharing my artwork!

Here's another fun experiment using bubble glazing and liner/doodle glazing I did a few months ago. I'm still fixated on painting mussels, but this one was a little more fun to create! I re-discovered it while updating my etsy shop this week.

This small cup/planter/bowl is about 3" in diameter and 2.5" tall and is a low-fire, food safe ceramic made 100% by yours truly ♡

Glaze Recipe # 13: Summer

A few months ago I began sharing my last 12 glaze combos with the world. Since then, I've experimented with 3 new recipes!... Sadly, this combo was the only one to make the cut, but what a beauty it is🤩

I'm so happy I now have a habit of recording my glaze experiments because this is just too beautiful not to share with the world ❤

This was also the first mug I ever tried a peacock technique in (on the inside) and I'm excited to do more!

Hi everyone! I've been getting so many people asking & messaging me recently so I thought I would make a quick post!

NO, I will NOT be at the Fall Etsy Market this weekend. Sadly, I wasn't accepted for a table this year. But it happens!

However there are so so so many amazing artists attending that don't have etsy shops or online availability so go check them out while you can in person this weekend, it's a fantastic market!

I'm working hard to add everything and more (including my ceramics) to my etsy shop (slashstudiosart.etsy.com) to make everything more accessible for you ♡

Apparently it took me being up in the air with limited things to do for 3 hours, for me to FINALLY get these cuties listed on my Etsy page! I'm on the way back from a wonderful Ceramic Studios Convention in Tampa and so full of inspiration and motivation I couldn't wait to touch the ground 🛩💙

MAGNET ORDER UPDATE

Custom silly pet portrait magnets are available on my etsy with a portion of every sale going to our local SPCA in Newfoundland!

All other NL magnets had their launch at the market saturday past. Any left over will be slowly making their way onto my Etsy page within the next week :)

Thank you all for the amazing support this weekend. I'm proud to report that we did in fact make enough to cover half of my tuition this fall! I genuinely couldn't believe it, you are amazing 😭💜
