PEACE RIVER THEY ARE HERE!! It’s been a long time since these paintings left me in April of 2025, and their journey has brought them back home.

‘In the Wild’ is now at the Peace River Municipal Library Gallery until Aug 26th where they’ll head back to the good people at TREX Northwest

Thank you to all the exhibitors over the past year that have taken such good care of our works, the exposure has meant everything.

I hope you take a moment to stop in and see these and the works of the other great artists that are part of this exhibition. Thank you so much for the support 💖

The little things rarely feel little while they’re happening.

Bare feet in the grass.
The breeze through the trees.
The golden evening sunlight.
A laugh.

A photograph captures a beautiful moment.

A film captures the moments in between.

That’s why I love creating cinematic keepsake films like this. They don’t just show what happened, they preserve the feeling of being there. Of who they are in that moment.

Sometimes moments deserve more than a single frame. 🤍

‘In the Wild’ has landed in Fort Vermilion at the Fort Vermilion Heritage Centre my mom so nicely took a few photos of where you can find my pieces along side 3 other amazing artists.

They will be on display here until July 22 after which they will arrive at the Peace River Municipal Library!!! Home! Seriously these paintings have a better travel/social life than I do!

I wish I could be there, and if you are in the area definitely pop in. Thank you as always to TREX Northwest for this wonderful opportunity 💖

*ps that’s my aunt and uncle in the photos lol 🤫 don’t tell them 😉

Every room, every object can tell a story.

Not through words.

Through light.

Through composition.

Through the traces people leave behind.

This is the kind of thing that stops me, draws me in, and begs me to capture it.

A simple book on a couch becoming the entire story for a moment.

Photography, painting with acrylics, video… the medium doesn’t matter.

Seeing a glimpse of something that could be, or something that simply was.

That’s where you’ll find me.

✨ Five of my paintings have found a temporary home at the Grimshaw Municipal Library!

My work is part of In the Wild, a travelling exhibition curated by TREX Northwest and supported by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, alongside artwork from three other talented artists.

If you’re nearby, stop in, take a look, and spend a little time with the exhibition. You might discover a new favourite piece. 🎨

I’d love to hear if you visit or which piece speaks to you most. ❤️

I hope my children never tire of me asking them to do things like 'ride really fast on your bike so I can set up my camera settings for an action shot' or 'go play with the hose, make sure the water goes up in the air' all for the sake of configuring my settings for future photo projects 😅

Also I love how the panning shot turned out! 🚴‍♀️
