If you know me, you know I’ve always been a bit of a “yes girl.” A few years ago, right at the peak of my career, we decided to buy some land with a pretty wild plan: that the next time we had a baby, we’d head to Quebec for a while, build a cabin during my maternity leave, and turn it into a little rental spot right there with a newborn in tow. Dave definitely thought I was nuts!
And now here we are, four years later in Mont-Tremblant—another gorgeous mountain culture town in Canada. Maddie’s starting an amazing preschool here, and we’re living out that wild vision I had. It’s been totally nuts—moving six weeks after having a baby and right in the middle of wedding season—but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Just a heads up to our Whistler-area friends: we’re still covering events and weddings back there, and we’ll be returning for the 2026 wedding season. Our books are open, and we can’t wait to share all the incredible content from this year’s amazing couples. Stay tuned for more adventures!
