If you're a canna-content creator, you know that censorship sinks ships in this space... 🥴
We've been a bit quiet lately in an effort to get the Meta enforcers off our back, hopefully now we are cleared to be recommended in new spaces so we can get the beautiful shared message of fun travel adventures and experiences for the jazz-cabbage-explorer into the conversation.
The "Green Goddess Flower" was federally legalized for adult use in Canada on October 18, 2018.
But still, nearly 5 years later, we are being censored by these social media sites on the basis of it still being federally prohibited in the US. We want to take a minute to call out that discriminatory maneuver, because we are all now VERY aware that Meta can block certain content in certain regions, just like how they are blocking Canadian news on their platforms because our gov't wants to charge them for re-posting news content.
So Meta just blocked all of our news instead, leaving us in a dangerous predicament much like what we saw this summer during the wildfire devastation and we really needed to be able to communicate with each other up and down the valley.
Meta could very easily block all electric lettuce content in regions where prohibition is still in place, yet they continue to ignore our cries for freedom of speech and shut down our accounts instead, making it extremely difficult to reach our audience.
Thank you for following us, please help us grow by interacting with and sharing our content when you are able.
We can't wait to see you for your next Okanagan canna-dventure!
