Excuse the nerd-out, but I just had one of the best customer experiences at in downtown , not only because I picked up this ridiculously beautiful Japanese knife, but owner Chris Carvalho is the consummate small business owner. Knows his gear cold, has an unbridled passion for it, and devotes the time to educating and helping clients consider the options from all angles. Perfect gift? Yeah, for some. Definitely for me. And could be something you consider for the upcoming holidays. It's an investment, absolutely, but I'll use this blade every day from here on out. Stunning workmanship.
