Im an abstract artist. This piece took 15 years of work to complete. And no effort. But it comes back to the paradox of freedom that i keep talking about wherein we effectively have free will at an individual level but when put into a thousand or tens of thousands of instances our actions are predictable down to an uncanny degree of accuracy.

Happy international workers day and 20 years of Renegade Apparel on Hunter St. W in beautiful downtown Peterborough/Nogojiwanong. I'm not really in it for the money, I am in it for the art & the craft. All I want is a just and equatable future for everyone. I must express mad love for the local and global communities that have seen my passion, energy, integrity and chose to elevate it and celebrate it. I absolutely must express love and respect for everyone that has and will work here, I am not sorry I have high standards. I am sorry that we have to do work that often seems without meaning or does not benefit our planet just because we are afraid of the violence of poverty. International workers day celebrates the riots that brought about the 8 hour work day and I can only hope and conspire that the amount of labour that we have to do to get by goes down as a result of things like outlawing billionaires and/or implementing global quality manufacturing and design standards. So that the things we buy are made to last and work and be enjoyed as opposed to the planned obsolescence that we as consumers are insulted with on a daily basis. Towards full supply chain accountability from the sun through our actions and all the way back to the microbiome.
