Keeping Your Family Business Mentally-Healthy
The pandemic has affected everyone differently, and family business leaders have a unique set of challenges when it comes to getting “back to normal”. As the mental health implications of the pandemic set in, leaders are left wondering what they can do to support employees and families to create a mentally-healthy culture.

For many, the pandemic has impacted in deeply personal ways, and family businesses may find it uncomfortable to talk about these issues at work. Our speakers will provide communication tools to help with anxiety that may exist around these difficult discussions.

Our panel will also address the important policy and legal issues such as proof of vaccination, maintaining a safe working environment, return to work and work from home obligations and how to stay on top of the government directives.
Monday September 27, 2021 4:30 - 6:30pm
Event location: Elmhirst’s Resort, 1045 Settlers Line, Keene
Note: This event is planned as an outdoor event on the beautiful grounds overlooking Rice Lake. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held in Elmhirst’s Enterprise Room which will be well ventilated by patio doors and will be at 50% capacity. Masks must be worn.

January 25, 2021 at 4:30 pm on Zoom.
To get the year started, we will host a panel with two breweries, a winery and a distillery.
Each of our panelists has a unique story to tell. Not only will they share their business story, but we've also asked them to talk about the challenges and opportunities they face in each of their markets.

Panelist: RICHARD WOOD
Bobcaygeon Brewery, Bobcaygeon and Peterborough
Common Loon, Starry Night, Dockside…all names that suggest this craft beer is “from the area”. In August 2017, Richard Wood and Vince Castronovo laid eyes on the old post office in Bobcaygeon and thought what a fine brewery it would make. They are in the process of renovating the building to make it into a production facility, a retail store and taproom. In the meantime, you can visit them at their Innovation Lab brewery on the Parkway in Peterborough, where they have a retail store and taproom. Available wherever you buy your beer and through home delivery.
