Most designers know what it’s like to deal with difficult clients. But if you’re like me, probably the most difficult client to deal with is yourself. Designing your own logo or print collateral can be an emotional challenge since it is a reflection of you not only as a designer or artist but as a human being. I agonize over designing my own logo and branded pieces. But I find the best way to approach such a personal project is to go back to basics and build from that simple foundation. Often, leaving a design at a very elementary, clean level is enough in itself. Good design is knowing when to say, ‘stop’. @ Pincourt, Quebec
