Skye Blue Internet

Skye Blue Internet Biotech specialties in: Agro-Food & Nutrition Sciences, Biopharma, Health & Lifestyle, Biomass Energy & Biorecyclables and Environmental Sciences.

We have a broad research portfolio covering our specialty on low-quality feeds and their processing/storage and digestion and use of three approaches: pre-biotics fine chemical biologics for gene silencing and protoplasmic fusion for new germplasm for new biocropping, crop postharvest processing/storage including use of enzyme and microbial technology for biofermentation such as ureolysis of straw

, urealysis of haylage and solid substrate fermentation (SSF) and probiotic manipulation with per os fine biologics for gene silencing for optimizing rumen digestion. We have many other ideas in biopharma for drug discovery such as treating common occupational and inherited diseases and use of food manufacturing with functional foods or nutritionals such as nutraceuticals and food dietetics and herbal or phytobotanical sources.

Here's a news story just out with cara-ranching in the Philippines. It's been found that whole corn plant ensilage and sugarcane tops (SCT) ensilage show the same ruminating parameters and comparable physical digestibility parameters, making them both available options in countries where they cultivate them and also in a country like Brazil where sugarcane is commonly planted and with corn as alternative crops to each other for livestock feeding. Additionally, the use of EnzymeTech in animal feeding is still to reach a new era with much needed discovery of lignase esterases (e. g. FAES), etherases and mysteriously designated lyases (that break C-C bonds in the lignin matrix). In material biomass like silting municipal sludge sewage (MSS), there are characterized breakdown products of reduced cyclohexane rings from the aromatic ring types, and side-group removal such as acid-catalyzed O-demethoxylations leading to various products such as methane, thiols and methylsulfides. There are also issues around the use of EnzymeTech with its pre-treated application through spraying then per os feeding in pelleted form for mixing and digestion in the rumen. An exciting future development is the use of non-GMO genetically regulatory organismal (GRO) inducement for XL-Grow varieties which cause early accelerated growth in sugarcane and corn plants lowering the lignified density of growing whole green plants for feed use for dedicated livestock-fed crops, in this case, in addition to slowing down the lignification process per se however far this can go. This presents a great advance in managing crop development in terms of: 1) end of harvest total crop yield, and 2) the digestible energy yield per tonne of crop for milk and LBM yield and from crop. On the other hand, the effectivity of the application process (dose per unit weight of feed particle, its time of exposure to breakdown lignin exposed, the moisture conditions and other additives to cause adherence or contact to feed particles) will have to be tested to optimize EnzymeTech's process operation and breakthroughs with feeds used on the farm currently. Lastly, it should be mentioned that there are agri-retailed feeds from "greenhouse" operations for fodders by the tonnage as demanded by nearby farms which can grow native low-lignin stock such as low-lignin green "salada" varieties of freshwater and marine seagrasses, although culturing conditions and manipulations have yet to be arrived at. They pose alternatives for high-capital conditions involving automated equipment for running the operational plant and is ideal with "twinning" with cost-effective phytopharm operations for drugs like the diabetic drug like insulin.

My future plans with my background in Chem/Life Sciences from Kalamazoo College is to continue from that past.

The research author has completed an Honors Senior Independent Project at SFU, Burnaby campus from 1979-80 over 6 mos. to synthesize an organic precursor, Lanosteral, for later proposals to create an activated VitD 2,3 agoniste (fat-soluble) for preventive or interventive clinical treatment of what are referred to as the systemic chronic inflammatory (SCI)-related conditions also due to nutritional deficiencies with a balanced, natural diet and now studied with functional nutritional approaches.

The research author is continuing his Internet-based studies using designer, synthetic oligopeptide functional nutraceuticals with animal production models, especially with the rumen stomach for elucidating further the so-called Protein-Energy Theory and a role for boosting microbial cell protein (MCP) synthesis with functional nutraceuticals, oligopeptides and oligosaccharides.

Both preceding e. g. s. of cellular metabolic regulation point to some form of feed-forward activation (FFA) whose kinetics the author intends to make a contribution with to further document metabolic regulation in this respect, in future.

https://lnkd.in/ghFEHTsS See our original contribution to the molecular mechanisms involved with the comprehensive Protein Energy Theory of ruminal digestion & protein nutrition in terms of chaperoning peptides to the protein synthesizing machinery of microbial cells. We will be ff. this with more contribution in the way of kinetics with what amounts to quantitative feed-forward activation (FFA) (cf. feed-back inhibition, FBI or another e. g. in active VitD2,3-agonist (D-A) competitive inhibition of FBI allosterically). The experimental system and model is still hypothetical at this time, for e. g. use of in vitro "designer oligopeptides" as initially indicated by in vitro samplings and their proteomic studies ff. by further kinetic measurements with quantitative analyses of our model enzyme systems down the road.

A quick update on the expanding role of the gut as an immuno-endocrino-digesting organ and comments made about what we will refer to as Novel Food-grade Bioactives (NFBs) and their role in gut digestion and post-absorptive metabolism. Much has been already said regards the integrity and function of the gut lining wall and its cells pertaining not only to basal digestive function, or immuno-endocrine functions to sustain a healthy microbial microbiome or ecosystem for digestion to continue but also new theories about novel food bioactives (NFB) substances which would be popular for a country like the Philippines with its plethora of flora (and fauna) in fruits, vegetables and also seafoods and any receptor-ligand binding relationship that have far reaching implications (or consequences?) with certain Cancers (e. g. colon, melanoma), for cardiac health, blood pressure and stroke prevention, healthier immunity in general including Cancer prevention, it is believed, bone health against osteoporosis, and arthritis prevention (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis). The list could go on and on in years to come as implications arise.
