Since 2001 I have planned, filmed, and edited every project myself. I make corporate videos, brand stories, recruitment films, training content, testimonials, product videos, and marketing films for businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, and municipalities in Edmonton, Central Alberta, and select clients across Canada. No agency layers, no bloated crews, no surprise fees. Most finished projects are $2,500–$5,000. Consultations are free. I take a small number of jobs at a time so the person you message is the person on set and in the edit. Website: https://dmbvideo.com

I work directly with Edmonton and Alberta businesses from the first conversation through filming and final edit — interviews, company profiles, recruitment, training, brand stories and more.

I’ve also added a couple of recent examples showing how I approach the work — including Mitsubishi Motors of Canada and a company-history piece where selective AI helped fill in footage that simply didn’t exist.

Real people and real footage are still the foundation.

Owner-operated corporate video in Edmonton and Central Alberta. Company profiles, interviews and brand stories. Typical projects $2,500–$5,000. Direct from plan to final edit.

This fall and winter I’m setting aside a few rural Alberta projects at a lower rate — at least 25% under what I normally charge.
I’m based in Drayton Valley. This is for smaller shops nearby that could use a focused video or a set of photos without turning it into a big production.
No application. Look at the page, then tell me what you’re trying to do. I’ll tell you if it’s worth shooting.

Reduced video and photography rates for rural and West-Central Alberta businesses. Limited fall/winter 2026 availability. Owner-operated since 2001.

Here’s a recent video I made for The Tiregrabber.

It was created for a construction trade show where it’ll be looping at their booth. The goal was simple — show the Tiregrabber in action the entire time, working around real construction equipment.
We only had a couple of hours on location, so I kept things moving — drone in the air for scale, camera on the ground for the detail shots.
Sometimes you just show up prepared and make the most of the time you’ve got.

For over 25 years, I’ve been running this video business my own way — mostly on my own. Always creating, always challenging myself. I still approach it like a kid with crayons, making a mess at times just to see what happens, and I’m grateful I get to make a living doing what I love.

Lately, I’ve grown tired of the agency side of the video industry — the fluff, bloated crews, inflated costs, and mindless content pushed without real thought. It has its place, but no place for me. I’ve been a one-man band for most of my career, doing things my way, making a living, and moving forward without chasing trends.

I finally gave that approach a name: The Anti-Agency Agent.

To have some fun with it, I created my own theme song and visuals — a creative snapshot of how I work.
