AM car radios really turned the tables over to the advertising industry. Then came FM, 8-Tracks, Cassette Decks, CD Players, Bluetooth devices – each playing an important role in the evolution of car audio.
Back in the 50's, though, there was a real misfire of an idea – Chrysler's Highway Hi-Fi – that was quickly skipped over by the public.
