Doug Tarry Homes is excited to once again be the Title Sponsor of LemonAID Day, coming to St. Thomas and Elgin County on June 7 for its second year of community fun and giving back. This event is a chance to come together as families, friends, and neighbours to support something truly meaningful—youth mental health and development through the Elgin Children’s Foundation.

How does it work? It’s simple. You register a stand, set up on June 7, and sell lemonade to raise funds. That’s it. We supply everything from signs, banners, lemonade and cups! Some people get creative with decorations, others bring music or treats, and many turn it into a full-on family activity or team-building day. 📸 Pictured: Last year’s lemonade stand.

As we move forward on to our next stages of fundraising for Project Tiny Hope on Kains Street we would like to take a moment to thank the dozens of foundations, organizations, service clubs, building suppliers and individuals who have come on board with donations of $1,000 up to $3 million over the past two years of our Capital Campaign. A project of this magnitude takes a village of support to come to light and we are lucky to have our donors a part of it.

When Kristen reached out to us about making these signs for her, we got straight to work and produced them as fast as possible. We’re always happy to help out our St. Thomas community!

Some great news for M&M Food Market in St. Thomas as they've now been cleared to offer curbside pickup.

The local franchise was forced to close their doors on April 4th following an incident that saw a vehicle collide with their storefront.

As steps continue to be taken for a safe reopening, Manager Kristen Baker is excited to share that as of today (Thursday) they will be offering curbside pickups in their back parking lot.

The storefront will remain closed for in person shopping at this time, but online and cashless phone orders can be picked up Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those shopping online can also take advantage of free delivery with orders over $50. Baker adds that they appreciate everyone's patience at this time as well as the ongoing support.
