Recently I was given the task of coming up with a name and design for Ford-branded novelty vodka, gin, and whisky. These were given away as part of a customer appreciation campaign, in partnership with Monashee Distillery in Revelstoke.

The result was these labels!

- Platinum Vodka
- King Ranch Whisky
- Tremor Gin

The desired look I wanted to achieve included a "window" that you could see through, which meant using a specialty printing process. White ink was printed on the clear film first, so that the other colours display accurately 🎯

This one was fun! A decal project for a collab between Jacobson Ford and ⛷️

Since I only have access to a vinyl plotter, it took four colours of vinyl layered to achieve this look! Sort of similar to a silkscreen. The toughest part was ensuring the blue background and black outline of the skier were properly aligned 🎯

Very happy with the final result!

Another rendition of "which logo would you choose?"

Kelowna's chapter hosts monthly "Climate Therapy Mondays," and wanted a design that could be used for each event. I came up with a couple of logo options that could be used on posters or digital banners for all future Climate Therapy Mondays. By having an identity for the event, it creates brand recognition and continuity. The colours play off of POW's existing brand design to reinforce collaboration, instead of trying to stand out as an independent event.

The volunteer team chose the first design in the slideshow. Which one would you choose?

I've been volunteering for the chapter in Kelowna, offering my design services pro-bono in order to bring awareness to their cause. Volunteering my time is a great way to show support, but the opportunity to design with minimal restrictions also gives me the chance to have some fun and make something that I enjoy!

This is a poster I put together this past spring, for am event where I got to meet the team.

Say hello to my newest client, Locally Maid! Meg () contacted me about creating an all-new identity for her cleaning service. Let's talk a little bit about what that looks like...

The first step is getting some project details including target market, growth goals, and standing out from the competition. From there we compile a list of ideas and inspiration that fits the project brief and gets us both excited about the opportunities!

Before getting too far along in any one direction, I'll put together a handful of ideas to make sure we're on the same page. Since colour can have such a huge impact on the mood of a design, I try to avoid it at this stage so that we can concentrate on the theme and style of the options.

After okaying the general direction and getting a bit of feedback, I'll narrow in on 2 or 3 of the mock ideas to create a more refined proof. This is also where I introduce some colour!

Meg was interested in Option C, but requested to see some more colour variations. After one more proof Locally Maid got it's logo! Unfortunately for my pin-up creation, she got sidelined this time around. But I had a ton of fun illustrating her πŸ’ƒπŸ’…
