LISTEN to this podcast series about one of the longest RCMP manhunts in Canadian history...that nobody knows about.

It features SK author Kate Kading and host Christina Cherneskey in a candid discussion about a simple domestic dispute which resulted in the slayings of two Mounties. The fall of 1970 was an intense time for the entire country as we watched the FLQ Crisis unfold, leaving these Capital Murder charges in Saskatchewan largely unreported by the press.

The book "On Scene" will be released later in the summer (2021).

I'm really proud of this podcast series I created for the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship.

This 7-part series features seven graduates of Praxis who took part in a follow-up course called staySMART. With guidance from Deanna Litz and Monica Kreuger, we sharpened our skills and re-set ourselves for more successful yeas ahead as entrepreneurs.

I'm so honoured I could create this series the same time Praxis marks its 30th year in Saskatoon delivering courses on entrepreneurship.

Last year, the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship marked its 30th year delivering its entrepreneurial program to Saskatoon.

To commemorate this achievement, the Global Praxis 30 Project was created in order preserve and recount the many accomplishments of Praxis.

Part of the series was THIS podcast series, while my colleagues and fellow grads, Megan Kent from Little Ox Film Company and Elizabeth Shih from Storytelling Communications created a video series and blog series respectively.

It was an honour to be part of this project and to contribute to the historical records of Praxis. I am grateful as well to the faith placed in my company by Praxis CEO Monica Kreuger and other major players at Praxis.

Last year, Furbaby Pet Care took in a stray dog who had just had a litter of seven pups. Gypsy found a temporary home at Furbaby just as the pandemic was beginning. She had a safe place to raise her pups and get healthy after a very rough start to her life. She was given love, attention, food and anything else she needed to get healthy AND raise her puppies.

Now, one year later, here's Gypsy. She's next to her 'look-alike' Raven, one of Gypsy's pups who was adopted by Chloe at Furbaby. Raven now lives in Alberta. Gypsy found a permanent home with Christina, who is Furbaby's Communication Director.

Gypsy and Raven look so similar! We're sharing this story because a little love and care goes a long, long way! And there is lots of that love with EVERYONE who works at Furbaby.
