Riders often like to avoid setting goals. But goals help us to be more structured, intentional, and mindful in our approach to growing our skills in the saddle, regardless of whether those goals include competition.

One way you can overcome barriers to goal setting as an equestrian is to change what your mind thinks about what goals represent.
