Over and over I hear, "I've tried Facebook ads, they don't work in my industry." Or, "Facebook ads suck."

The truth is people all over the world are taking advantage of the platform and it's 2.3 Billion users. They are maximizing the ability to laser target their audience, and use other platforms to help their campaigns get fantastic returns.

So why are your ads not working?

Well, you probably don't understand how the system works. Like many others, you might be treating Facebook like traditional marketing.

But Facebook doesn't work like that. Its a social platform, and cramming the same ad in someones face over and over doesn't work. Especially if the ad copy sucks or the creative is boring.

"My cousin does it for me and she got me 2 new leads this month"

Your cousin sucks.

If you are doing it right you should be so busy you are handing clients to your competitors, or better yet hiring them. It takes some knowledge and hard work to make your ads perform.

If you think you just post an ad and sit back and wait, then you are better spending your money on tickets to a drunken monkey fight or something. At least you will get value.

I know it sounds harsh. But it's the truth. Do yourself a favor, read, learn, practice. Or hire someone that already has.

I can probably watch a Youtube video and "learn" how to rebuild my transmission. Will I do it quickly and efficiently? probably not. Will I make mistakes? Most definitely.

But that is why we pay a mechanic $125/hr or whatever. We are not paying for the hour, we are paying for the years he put in developing those skills.

So before you say Facebook ads don't work, you should give them a proper chance.

Christmas is coming and Black Friday is almost here. If you haven’t started pushing your campaign yet you better get started.

Get that ball rolling right now! Shout from the hill tops and get the word out. If you wait until the day arrives it is already too late.

Get the word out and then retarget the people who showed even a little bit of interest. Then narrow it down again. And keep this process going, feeding the funnel with new people.

And when Black Friday hits, BAM! Drive it home to that audience with your deals and watch it come off the hook!

“My ads aren’t working!!”
Ok. There is a fix. Don’t freak out. And it is likely not as hard as you thought.
You see, a lot of ads that fail are failing because you are reaching a cold audience. There is nothing wrong with that. It’s normal. But you need to move the cold to warm and eventually hot 🔥.
“How do I do that?”
Glad you asked.
Retargeting. If 1000 people see your ad and only 300 show any sign of interest, you need to hit up those 300 (those are the warm ones). Then of those 300 only 50 become clients or complete a sale. The 50 are the hot ones.
You just need to filter out the ones that are ready. That is done by retargeting.
It’s called a funnel. And it is a very important part of advertising online.
