Join the movement by dropping off your unwanted, old, holed socks at a participating Smartwool dealer...in our Sea to Sky homeland, that's at Valhalla Pure Outfitters - Squamish and Smartwool Whistler Locally Owned and Operated. You'll also find collection bins at MECs across Canada.

We’re giving old products new life to eliminate the need for new materials and keep perfectly good materials from being thrown away. Let’s go green before we go far. And close the loop together.

A great story shared by one of our fabulous Altra dealers today. Patricia Roney, a Vancouver Island athlete who won the Perseverance Trail Run last year, recently tackled the Moab Run the Rocks event.

Her race shoes didn't arrive on time so she raced all 3 legs/stages of the half-pint with Altra Wilds she'd just picked up (a prize from her Perseverence win). She came out as 1st overall (ahead of all the boys) and texted our friends at Foveō Running yesterday saying it was her first time running in Altras and that she quite enjoyed them (clearly!!) She's also a physiotherapist with an impressive bio (track & field national team therapist, etc) so checks the box as a very credible 'tester' for us on several counts :)

Cheers to Patricia's amazing result... and to more Altra miles ahead! :)
