Yesterday was tough. I was asked to speak in front of a full house of scholarship recipients, their supporters, and fellow donors at .

Walking around the house getting ready yesterday morning, I’d well up when I tried to speak my thoughts aloud on the importance of paying it forward, in memory of an incredible man who made things possible for me when I was first gathering the nerve to start out, almost 13 years ago.

When the time came, I was (mostly) able to keep it together; to congratulate the recipients on behalf of all of those who help these hard working students to feel rewarded - while asking everyone in the room to remember the name Frank Collins.

CNA gave over $500,000 in scholarships this year - all from businesses and families who know that the future of our province depends on helping tomorrows leaders, today. ❤️✨🏆

An hour into this book, the many recommendations from clients and friends is landing me to wonder “how does my ‘corporate life’ look to others?”

1-Sentence-Summary: The 4-Hour Workweek is the step-by-step blueprint to free yourself from the shackles of a corporate job, create a business to fund the lifestyle of your dreams, and live life like a millionaire without actually being one. ⛓️

I mean, some days are looong, sure. And perhaps the only shackles I tend to feel are those of my ever-dinging inbox, but I hear we are all dealing with this, and I am working in strategies to better handle the distraction of this hotline.

I know there is more to come. I’m only an hour into this ten hour stream.

It’s been a minute ~ happy to say I’ve been too focused on my client relationships to pop thoughtful and inspiring messages in my professional channels 🤷🏻‍♂️✨but this one caught mine eye. I guess it’s because I’ve lived it. I may live it again - and that’s fine with me. We can always start over.
