i donāt usually weigh in on whatever logo controversy dumpster fire is happening⦠i usually just stay quiet.
but itās not because i donāt have thoughts (i always do lol)
itās because i see how much time, strategy, and pressure go into a rebrand. i canāt imagine it being for a MASSIVE company with millions of people watching.
some designer poured their brain and ideas into it, and now thousands of strangers are absolutely destroying it five seconds later.
tbh, people donāt actually hate the new logo. they just hate change, mostly!!
our brains looooove predictable. familiar feels safe, and we get attached to that!
donāt get me wrong, some designs DO suck (iām looking at you, 2010 gap logo that lasted 6 days). but after a few weeks, everyone moves on š
