History is a part of each of us who grew up in a coastal town/city.
These are the rhythms and colours of the lighthouses of Nova Scotia!
Amazing engineering as “no neighbour repeats, so a mariner can name a light in the dark without ever seeing land...each sweeping or flashing on its own charted character. Sambro Island, off the mouth of Halifax Harbour, has been lit since 1758, the oldest working lighthouse in North America.”
