While in New York, she continued to combine her passion for theatre and teaching while working for Camp Broadway, creating and instructing workshops for Broadway shows. After appearing in several original children’s musicals at Vital Theatre Company in New York City, Carrie became their Director of Family Programming, where she spent 5 years commissioning, producing and directing original musicals for children. In 2009, following the success of Pinkalicious, The Musical Off-Broadway, Carrie produced the first Canadian Production of the show at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts – it’s originally planned 6-week run lasting over 6 sold-out months.
