Think screen printing starts with ink? Not quite.

Before a new design can be printed, the screens from previous jobs need to be cleaned and reclaimed. The old stencil is removed, the mesh is inspected, and the screen is prepared for its next project.

Why reuse them? Because these screens are built to last. Reclaiming them saves materials, reduces waste, and allows printers to keep a wide variety of screen sizes ready for everything from small logos to large artwork. Imagine if every screen used was kept... How big would the storage need to be?

Watching rows of screens being cleaned might not sound exciting, but it's one of those behind-the-scenes steps that keeps the entire screen printing process moving efficiently.

What would you print if you had access to a screen printing shop for a day? πŸ‘•πŸŽ¨

Ever wonder where thousands of custom products live before they head out into the world?

This view gives you a bird's-eye look at one of our supplier's production facilities. From the manufacturing floor to a warehouse packed floor-to-ceiling with inventory, there's over 20,000 square feet dedicated to keeping projects organized, protected, and ready for production.

It's easy to focus on the finished award, sign, or promotional item, but there's a lot happening behind the scenes to make sure everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.

And honestly... there's something pretty impressive about seeing row after row of products stacked all the way to the ceiling. πŸ“¦πŸ†

Not every award gets a red carpet... but this one got a professional photoshoot. πŸ“ΈπŸ†

Lights? Check.
Camera? Check.
Award trying to look its best? Absolutely.

This behind-the-scenes video shows one of our suppliers capturing the perfect shot of a custom award. It's funny how much work goes into a photo that people scroll past in two secondsβ€”but those photos are often what inspire the next great idea.

Let's be honest though... if you spent all that time creating a beautiful award, you'd want your good side shown too. 😎

What's the most photographed thing in your office? πŸ‘‡

When people see a custom logo on apparel, bags, or promotional products, they usually focus on the finished item.

But before that design gets pressed onto a product, there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

In this video, you'll see transfer sheets being printed in the background while, up front, a team member carefully trims and prepares each transfer for the next step in the process.

It's a good reminder that even with modern equipment doing the printing, skilled hands are still an important part of production. Every cut, every stack, and every detail helps ensure the final product looks exactly the way it's supposed to.

The machines get a lot of attention, but it's the people behind them who help bring the finished product to life. πŸ‘

When people think of custom branding, they usually think of mugs.

But what about an entire tea set? β˜•βœ¨

One of the most unique products we came across at a trade show was custom china and ceramics. From single serving platters and decorative plates to complete dining and tea sets, the possibilities were much bigger than we expected.

Imagine:
🍰 A bakery serving desserts on custom-branded platters
β˜• A tea shop with matching teacups and saucers
🏨 A boutique hotel with custom dinnerware
🎁 A retirement or anniversary gift that becomes a family keepsake
πŸ† Commemorative plates for milestones and special events

Some promotional products get used for a season. Custom ceramics can become part of someone's daily routine for years.

What's the most unusual thing you've ever seen customized? πŸ‘‡

When most people think about awards, they think about the finished product.

But a lot happens before an award ever reaches its box. πŸ“¦

In this part of our factory tour, you'll see stacks of custom-cut packaging designed specifically for each award shape and size. The goal isn't just to make it look goodβ€”it's to protect the award every step of the way.

And right at the end, you'll catch a glimpse of a team member testing a cutting die by hand. It might seem like a small detail, but it's one of many quality checks that help ensure every box fits exactly as intended before production moves forward.

It's a great reminder that quality isn't just built into the productβ€”it's built into the process. πŸ‘

Who says awards have to collect dust on a shelf? πŸ†

These stackable acrylic awards grow with every achievement, creating a visual timeline of milestones, accomplishments, and memories.

Some fun ways they could be used:

⭐ Employee anniversaries (add a new piece every year)
⭐ Sales milestones
⭐ Safety achievements
⭐ Years of service
⭐ Fundraising goals
⭐ Sports team accomplishments
⭐ Volunteer recognition
⭐ Training and certification levels
⭐ School achievements
⭐ Even family traditions or annual cottage competitions!

Because each piece stacks onto the last, the award tells a story that keeps growing over time.

What would you build yours for? πŸ‘‡

Ever wonder how full-colour logos get printed on water bottles? πŸ‘€

This machine uses CMYK printingβ€”the same four colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) used to create millions of colour combinations.

The coolest part? The bottle spins while it's being printed, allowing the artwork to wrap smoothly around the curved surface. πŸŒͺ️🎨

It's one of those processes that's oddly satisfying to watch in action. Which colour do you think gets printed first?
