A logo design. The goal here was execute the client's vision as best as I could.

The client wanted a logo for their new business and had a great idea for what they wanted. I tried multiple layouts and versions of their idea of a pair of headphones with untangling cord into their business name.

I decided to keep just the "Lexi Lou" in cursive and part of the cord since it has a lot of loops in it to fit in with the looping cord, as well it being the more personal part of the name. I also wanted it to be the focal point along with the headphones. Which means I had to keep the little visualizer small but still big enough to provide that pop of colour.

A business card and logo design. I wanted to create something memorable but still simple.

I wanted this design to stand out from typical business cards and logo designs in this industry while still looking like it fits in that industry. Since this is a newer company I wanted the logo to feel modern and sleek to give off a professional vibe. The pops of red among the yellow really helps with drawing your eye and ensuring everything doesn't just blend together. The ruler along the top of the card is a unique and somewhat practical way to get clients to actually hold onto the business card.

A racing logo design for clothing. The two main themes I wanted to get across here was boldness and speed.

With the high contrast colour palette I wanted to keep the boldness consistent in the font and outlines to make certain areas stand out. I also wanted the text and number to match the racing speedway feel that this design was trying to evoke.

A wedding invitation and RSVP card design. The goal here was to create a romantic and flowery feel while utilizing the wedding colours.

I wanted to do this sort of plant heart as I thought it was an excellent way to incorporate the flowers without it feeling tacky. I thought the best choice of flower to focus would be a rose for it's romanticism, as well as one of the wedding colours already matching a similar colour of a rose. I also wanted to avoid a simple and cheap look so I added a lot of detail to the flower and all the leaves down the stem. Finally I had to utilize cursive font choices to tie all of the elements of romanticism and elegance together. It was also important that both cards matched in terms of visual style so I incorporated the rose and those same elements in the RSVP card.

A logo redesign concept. This concept came with the permission of Caring Hearts themselves. I wanted to try 3 different variations of updating their current logo.

The first was furthest from their current style, but something still cute and fun that fits their current brand identity. The second was closest to their current style but updating it into something more fresh and clean. The third was meeting in the middle with something still cute but more professional.
