There is road construction work planned for Bruce Road 9 affecting both Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula and Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

This work begins the week of September 21, 2026, between Hopeness Road and Cameron Road.

This will require a full road closure for approximately three weeks.

Please drive with caution and patience. Follow posted signage – for your safety and the safety of construction crews.

Can’t make it into the Municipal Office during business hours, but need to update your voter information? Visit the Election Help Centre:

⏲️10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Municipal Staff will be on site to assist eligible electors with updating their information on the voter’s list and to answer election related questions.

Closures due to increased bear activity:
▪️ Cyprus Lake Campground: closed now through to October 31.
Parks Canada will continue to assess bear activity and communicate with reservation holders and the public if further closures are needed.

Grotto parking reservations and day use areas remain open.

Backcountry campers are required to park at Halfway Log Dump until further notice.
