Introducing Tool Thursday.
This is where I’ll showcase some of the current tools I’m using for my business, what they do, and how they can be helpful for your personal business.
Today we’ll be talking about Business Manager and Pixel. I decided to present them together because they are a pair; you can’t use Pixel without Business Manager. Business Manager will be usable, but in my opinion it won't be complete without Pixel.
Business Manager
Business Manager is an online platform used by businesses to manage their pages, ad accounts, and data received from Pixel, which should be installed on your website. This tool allows you to create and share your business’ paid ads and organic posts on Facebook and Instagram, all from one platform. You will also be able to keep track of your Pixel’s gathered data here, what actions customers have taken, and use this information to your advantage to create and re-target specific audiences that will be interested in your products/services.
Pixel
Pixel is a piece of code that’s implemented on your website to help you track actions taken by individuals that come from your ads or organic posts.
Depending on how you build your website it might be easier or harder to get Pixel on your website. Some website builders (wix, squarespace, shopify, etc..) will have an option to implement it easily, while others might require you to insert the code manually.
In summary, if your business sells products or services through a website, I highly recommend you install pixel and start using Business Manager. There is no downside to it and the sooner you start using it the sooner it will be able to collect data for you to use later.
