We love creating annual reports—not simply because they capture a year’s achievements, but because they give us the opportunity to tell the stories behind them.

One of our favourite parts of the process is interviewing the people doing the work.

For FMPE’s latest Annual Report, we had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Peter Tzakas, Director of the Residency Practice-Based Learning Program (PBLP), about how the program is evolving to create a more connected and engaging learning experience for residents.

Peter shared some impressive progress: 18 Canadian and three international residency programs are now engaged across 182 sites, reaching more than 3,200 residents. But what really comes through in the conversation is the thinking behind that growth—from bringing residents more directly into the conversation to making learning more interactive, reflective, accessible, and relevant to clinical practice.

It’s exactly the kind of story we love helping our clients tell.

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is helping organizations clarify where they're going next.

We're excited to see FMPE's new 2026–2030 Strategic Plan officially launched. It was a real pleasure working with their team to help shape and design a plan that reflects both their mission and their vision for the future.

Working with The Foundation for Medical Practice Education (FMPE) is always a privilege. Their commitment to advancing family medicine through innovative, evidence-based continuing education has a meaningful impact on physicians and, ultimately, on patient care across Canada.
