Colour has always been a staple in branding. People associate colour with meaning or emotion. It's a great mental device to have your audience associate colour with your brand as it gives your brand meaning. Here are the different meanings for your PRIMARY COLOURS:

1. Red ❤️ - Red has one of the strongest mental associations out there as the hue itself is linked with concepts such as passion, intensity, rage, courage, and love. All of which are very deep and strong emotions.

Many people may want to use red when they hope that their product or brand will evoke passionate emotions such as maybe a social cause or something adventurous and risk taking.

2. Blue ☂- Blue has always been known as more of an expressive hue. In other words, it symbolizes concepts such as freedom, expansiveness and intuition.

Usually you would use blue for brands that showcases an unexplored idea or something that you have never tried before such as maybe a new cream.

3. Yellow ✋ -Yellow is a very radiant colour that showcases emotions such as happiness, as well as intellect.

You would usually use yellow for brands that think they evoke a fun experience or a very measured and calculated product to invoke trust.

📲 3 Social Media Myths You Always Hear

1. 🛑”bE oN aLl PlAtForms”

Yes it increases the reach and possibilities of growth. However, time is money and sometimes creating content for every platform just isn’t worth it. Not every one of your target demographic will be using all your platforms.

2. 🛑 “iTs a NuMbeRs GaMe”

It depends on what you do with the numbers. You can have great numbers but if you dont make smart decisions on converting (i.e understanding the funnel, retargeting when needed…etc), the numbers mean nothing.

3. 🛑 “ThIS CoNteNt NeEds tO bE pErfEct”

Stop worrying too much about the quality of your editing. Remember that your brand is a reflection of you. When something becomes over edited people are going to trust it less. Theres a fine line in between.

Agencies and free lancers are great 😊. Heck, I'm a free lancer as well. However, there are some benefits to in-houses that cannot be realistically replicated in any other way:

📌 1. Agencies, though specialized, can't always understand the brand voice and tone that the company wants to execute the way an in-house would. This is normal because an in-house is working on the same brand every single day and being trained to execute the idea in a tailored manner.

📌 2. In-houses reduces the amount of back and forth meetings needed. Any changes can be made right away and less changes may be needed as they have a stronger grasp on the day to day standards.

📌 3. In-houses reduce costs for businesses that is in need of large amounts of marketing. If there is always marketing work that needs to be done, there's no need to hire an agency as they realistically need to charge a premium for their services.

📌 4. In-houses have access to first party data that may not be given to an agency. Sometimes a company may not be comfortable with sharing some information and an in-house is able to get access to it and make better decisions as they are a part of the organization

📌 5. Having an in-house team builds corporate culture as they feel more involved with the operations. This ensures a higher quality of work as in-house marketers may feel more pride in doing well if they are invested into the culture of the org.
