🍁 BUYING LOCAL ISN’T JUST A TREND, IT’S A MOVEMENT.

Several retailers across Nova Scotia are reporting a surge in interest for local products as trade tensions with the U.S. continue to make headlines.

From craft beverages and locally made goods to homegrown brands, more Canadians are choosing to keep their dollars close to home.

Whether it’s supporting local jobs, strengthening our economy, or simply discovering incredible products made right here in Canada, there’s never been a better time to drink local, shop local, and support local. 🇨🇦🍻

Are you making more of an effort to buy Canadian these days? 👇

🍻 Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, dog dads, and father figures who taught us the important things in life, like how to grill the perfect burger, tell a terrible joke, and appreciate a good drink.

Today, raise a glass to the legends who always have the best stories, the worst puns, and somehow know exactly how to fix everything. Cheers to you, Dad! 🥃🍺

The New York Knicks are NBA Champions, and there's only one way to celebrate: with a cocktail as bold as that championship run. 🏆🏀🍹

Raise a glass to the perfect celebration cocktail: featuring vodka, orange juice, pineapple juice, Aperol, and a splash of blue curaçao for those iconic Knicks colours.

🍊 Shake vodka, orange juice, pineapple juice, and Aperol with ice.
🔵 Pour blue curaçao into a glass and fill with crushed ice.
✨ Slowly strain the mixture over top for a championship-worthy layered look.
🍊 Garnish with an orange slice and toast to the champs.

Knicks fans, this one's for you. 🧡💙

Canadians really said “maybe water isn’t so bad after all” 🍻📉

Alcohol sales across Canada dropped 3% between March 2024 and March 2025, according to Statistics Canada, marking the FOURTH straight year of declining sales volume.

Are people drinking less… or just being pickier about what’s worth the hangover? 👀

Who knew that getting sick could have some alcoholic benefits😷🥃

Fun fact: Some people swear a shot of whiskey helps soothe a sore throat because the alcohol creates a warming sensation and can temporarily numb irritation… not exactly doctor-approved, but my medicine cabinet might disagree🤧

Hopefully this weather turns warmer soon before my bottles go empty🤣 What old-fashioned tricks do you do to mend your sicknesses? Let us know in the comments!

Ontario Premier Doug Ford isn’t budging—U.S. alcohol won’t be returning to shelves anytime soon unless the White House backs down in the ongoing trade dispute.

For now, it’s all about drinking local 🍁🍻

But we want to know… are you supporting the move or missing your go-to U.S. picks? 👀👇

🍻🌲 Big news for summer park hangs…

Visitors to Ontario provincial parks will be able to drink alcohol in more areas starting this summer.

That means your perfectly chilled local beer might finally be allowed somewhere other than directly beside your tent. Revolutionary. 🏕️😂

According to Todd McCarthy, the updated rules are meant to “improve the overall park experience and support local tourism.” And honestly… nothing says “enhanced park experience” quite like responsibly sipping a local craft beer while staring at a lake and pretending you know how to start a campfire. 🔥🍺

Just remember: respect the park, pack out what you pack in, and maybe share that cooler with your friends.
