And that turned out to be the strong move.

Paying attention to your own health is a skill, and like any skill, it gets easier the more you use it. Noticing the fatigue that's hung around too long. The mood that's been off for a few weeks. The thing you keep meaning to mention.

Here's the encouraging part: when men do get involved in managing their health, outcomes improve, not just for them, but for everyone around them. The first step is a small, but brave one: just notice.

So this June, if something's felt off, give it a minute of honest attention.

The bravest thing isn't toughing it out. It's deciding you're worth paying attention to.

This Mental Health Week, we're doing something simple. We're asking our team to step outside for 10 minutes and take a photo of something that catches their eye/made them smile. 📷

Research consistently shows that spending time in nature, even briefly, reduces cortisol levels, lowers heart rate, and meaningfully improves mood. A 2019 study published in Frontiers in Psychology found that just 20 minutes in a natural setting was enough to significantly reduce stress hormone levels.

But you don't need a forest. A patch of sky. A tree on your street. A moment of quiet between meetings. It counts.

We call it Walk & Snap. No agenda. No performance. Just a conscious pause to look up, breathe, and notice the world around you.

Because one of the most powerful things we can do for our mental health isn't a programme or a policy, it's permission. Permission to stop. To step away. To be human for ten minutes.

We're sharing our team's photos this week.

What did you notice today when you stepped outside? Share in the comments below. 👇
