Another tool that I love to use is the ColorPicker Eyedropper . This tool is a chrome extension that allows you to pull colours from a webpage.

Sometimes clients have a website made but don't have a brand kit. In these cases I will pull colours from their site using this tool which can save me a lot of back and forth.
I can then put together a simple brand kit for my client. Bonus!

You can easily switch between colour formats with ease. HEX, RGB and HSL.

I know myself, and I know I am most productive between 10am-2pm.
I've gotten into the habit of prioritizing my design heavy tasks early in the day because I am full of creativity, followed by my admin tasks later on.

I haven't perfected it yet but setting up my days this way have helped my productivity a ton.

As the saying goes... no matter the tone, there's a font for that.
I may have just made that up.

Whether your tone be more serious and professional or light and friendly, there's fonts that will help pain that picture for your audience.

What's the mood? Figure that out, then choose a typeface that elevates.

Here are some "font moods" paired with different type faces:

👉Slab Serif: important, evident, bold, impactful, attention-grabbing

👉 Sans Serif: simple, sensible, straightforward, east to read, neutral

👉Serif: stable, respectable, timeless, formal, traditional

👉Modern Serif: high fashion, glamor, exquisite, clean, luxurious

👉Condensed or Ultrathin: busy, authoritative, lofty, logical, influential

*This isn't always the case but a guideline to follow if you are unsure.
