What you need to know about fonts ✏️⁣

When choosing fonts for your brand you have two choices⁣
⁣
1. Licensed/Paid fonts⁣
2. Free fonts⁣
⁣
Lets start with the Licensed fonts⁣
⁣
🌿 Great for logos, headings, and statement pieces⁣
⁣
🌿 These fonts are going to create a uniqueness to your brand since not everybody will be using it⁣
⁣
🌿 You are able to get more specific into the vibe you want to give off by searching keywords of the type of font you're looking for⁣
ex: minimalist, vintage, whimsical⁣
⁣
🌿 When purchasing licensed fonts you need to make sure your are purchasing the correct license for what you will be using it for⁣
ex: logo, content, website, etc⁣
⁣
You can search for licensed fonts on platforms such as Creative Market or Design Cuts⁣
⁣
Now onto free fonts ⬇️⁣
⁣
There is absolutely nothing wrong with free fonts! Let's get that clear. ⁣
They have their space in branding for sure.⁣
⁣
🌱 What free fonts are great for are the body of your text.⁣
This text is usually simple and easy to read and can easily be found using Google fonts or Canva fonts.⁣
⁣
🌱 These fonts usually have multiple styles (thin, medium, regular, bold, italic) so you can get creative on your own with them⁣
⁣
Whether you choose to purchase licensed fonts for your headings and body or go for a mix is your choice!⁣
