"It's so difficult to build an audience" - said most of my clients. The truth is, it's not that hard 🤷🏼‍♀️ and here's why 👇🏻

People think that to build an audience you need A LOT of followers since, according to them, that's the only way they will be able to sell their services.

What no one gets is that, even you have 100 followers, if your current followers pay for your services and refer you to their friends and family, you will have revenue!

But how do you build that audience in the first place?

✨ Understand who is your dream client - if you don't know anything about them, how are you going to create content, offer your services and talk to them?

✨ Create a well-defined content calendar - as I always say "it's not just a post", you need to have a strategy behind everything you upload on your social media

✨ Engage with your community - how do you expect people to like, comment, and share your content if you don't do that yourself?

Content Calendar is the organization and schedule of your posts.

It needs to include the following:

〰️ date of the post
〰️ deadlines
〰️ topic of the post
〰️ sales funnel

Personal story below 👇🏻

I've always LOVED computers and the internet. When I was around 9 years old I used to spend hours in front of the computer designing and coding blog templates.

BUT, never in my widest dreams I thought I could work with that.

So when it was time to choose my career at 17 years old, I decide to go with Law. Let's just say It was a bad decision 😂

One day I decided it was too much: being a lawyer was something I hated, and I felt like I was in a place I didn't belong.

So I packed my two suitcases and told my dog ❤️ we were going to move 5,135 miles to somewhere new.

After another 2 years of college - this time Advertising and Marketing - I went from being a corporate lawyer in Brazil to my dream career: a Brand Identity Designer & Social Media Manager in Canada, and I could not be happier!

One of my biggest challenges in life - besides trying to beat procrastination - is understanding that things don't always have to be perfect all the time.

Making mistakes is my number #1 fear and that's why I'm always triple checking my work.

I need to keep reminding myself that giving your best does NOT mean:

✨ Doing everything because in the end, we can't fit all the things we want in 24 hours.

✨ Meeting everyone's expectations - that's something impossible to achieve

✨ Always having the best results

Quantity is (very) different than quality! Have you ever thought about that?

People think that having a lot of followers is the same as being the expert in your field. Let me tell you right now that's NOT TRUE! 😱

The number of people that follow an account does NOT necessarily mean that person has more knowledge and expertise than someone with less followers.

So, don't compare yourself with anyone else ❤️

Everyone started with zero followers and absolutely no one knows everything.
